A creative outlet can be a meditative practice which might be more important for you in todays world as a form of escapism or healing.  Use art to develop your visual language.  Explore and experiment with a variety of different skills and techniques.  Allow your creative spirit to enjoy the creative process of making art again.  Learn to develop your intuition and critical thinking.

Art for the heART retreat - Ballinwillinhouse & Garden, Mitchelstown, Co.Cork

Price includes materials and lunch for both days.

​

The Aim of the retreat is to carve out some time to reconnect to your creative flow.  Using a series of different skills and techniques you will develop your own style of mark making techniques and get to explore lots of different materials.  A great opportunity  for anyone who is open to creating art from the heart.  All art materials plus a take home canvas will be provided for each person. 

​

Sanitizing of equipment and social distancing will be maintained in line with government advice therefore booking is essential and classes sizes will be 6/7 people.

Evening Art Classes will begin on Wednesday morning 10.30 - 1pm or else Wednesday evening at 19.00 - 21.30.

​

These art classes are suitable for all levels of ability.  Some materials are included however some students prefer to bring there own art equipment.

​

Classes vary and may include observational drawing, painting techniques, artist research, printing, weaving, mixed media and photography.

​

Classes will resume September 9th.
